MLC Arlington Hills: Literacy today extends beyond just reading and writing, at MLC participants acquire the English skills they need to get and maintain jobs. This workplace literacy – includes technology and critical thinking skills, but also incorporates elements of organization, inferring next steps in an activity, proritizing options, and setting one’s own learning goals.

9:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. M - F (Beginning Literacy ESL to Intermediate ESL with a Work Skills Focus; Learners can attend all four hours or for a two-hour session from 9:15 - 11:15 a.m. or from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.)
